About Me
I'm a physicist who fell into software engineering and never looked back. I studied Physics at Universidad Nacional de Colombia before realizing the problem-solving itself was what I loved, not the physics lab specifically. Today I'm a Software Engineer at Nubank, building backend platforms in Clojure — a language that rewards thinking clearly about a system before you touch it, the same way physics does.
Quantum computing is where the two still meet. Between the Qiskit Global Summer School, IBM's Quantum Challenge (Fall 2021, Advanced track), and being an IBM Certified Associate Developer for Quantum Computation using Qiskit, it's the one field where I get to use both halves of what I studied.
Outside of work: I'd rather document the learning than just get to the answer, which is why this blog exists — generated straight from my own org-roam notes. I tinker with electronics, play guitar badly but happily (rock and blues), and I'm stubborn about finishing what I start. My GitHub is the most honest record of all of it.
